Overview

This district has the overhead transmission line component of the project and includes the construction of 75 new transmission towers. The construction work includes building access tracks and tower foundations; erecting the transmission towers and stringing the conductors (wires). The work will be undertaken over the next two construction summers.

Landscape planting to help reduce the visual effect of the transmission line will also be undertaken. We will be working closely with the local community to ensure that any disruption from our construction activity is kept to a minimum.
