Transpower’s customers in the lower Waitaki valley have made Transpower aware that future economic developments in the lower Waitaki valley region, including Timaru and Oamaru, have the potential to increase electricity demand in the region beyond the capability of Transpower’s existing 110 kV assets in the region.
