March 2012	Project progressing according to programme.
February 2012	Environmental applications lodged. Kaitimako transformer foundation pre-loading work completed.
December 2011/January 2012	Construction contract awarded to Electrix. Contractor start up meeting held January 2012.
November 2011	Installation tenders for main substation works received and are under evaluation. Lack of Transpower approved drawings for primary equipment at this stage may lead to later project delay.
October 2011	Circuit commissioned late October. Installation tender specification for the main substation works has been completed and the tenders issued.
September 2011	Preparing for final circuit commissioning in October
